Andrzej Szczerski, assistant professor in the Institute of Art History, Jagiellonian University in Kraków and vice-director for scholarly affairs in the National Museum in Kraków (2016-2018). He was a guest lecturer in the Goethe University in Frankfurt (2003) and St. Andrews University in Scotland (2004). Andrzej Szczerski is the author of publications on Central-Eastern European art and architecture in the 19th and 20th centuries, such as „Modernizations. Art and Architecture in the new states of Central-Eastern Europe 1918-1939” (Łódź, 2010, in Polish) and „Views of Albion. The Reception of British Art and Design in Central Europe 1890-1918 (Oxford 2015). Also, he is curator of exhibitions including „The Power of Fantasy. Modern and Contemporary Art from Poland” at BOZAR, Brussels (2011) and „#heritage” at the National Museum in Kraków (2017-2018).
